• No huge advertising expenditures
• No bloated bureaucracy
• No 18% return on investment to stockholders
• Our children are starving (just kidding)

• No bullying suppliers into giving us super-low rates
• No mass-production of identical personal computers (which, of course, is not customization)

• No sticking in inferior self-manufactured or ultra-cheap parts
• We’ll return your e-mails or phone calls

But don’t take our word for it.  Try to get a straight price on a computer for which, if not designed by you, you at least know what brands of parts are inside from one of our myriad competitors.
