Posts and Pictures from Xavier Elijah, Cassidy James, Eva Marie & Daniel Eugene
Another month has gone by. This year sure is flying by for us!
Xavier is growing bigger everyday it seems. He can stay sitting up if you sit him up to start. He prefers to sleep on his side now and he has 2 teeth now! We have a bit of a dry skin problem right now, but apparently its quite common and he’ll grow out of it in time.
Cassidy is learning to write. We’ve got A down mostly and are working on B. He still loves trains and wants to be Thomas the train for halloween…mommy and daddy project right there! He says Xavier can be Thomas’ driver. He likes to read and will “read” to himself often.
Cassidy and Xavier still get a kick out of each other, which is helpful when trying to do something.
Our family did a bit of shifting as well. We lost our two rabbits, Murphy and Dusty, but we gained two friends, Tip-toe and Frank. Tip-toe is Cassidy’s friend (who is hard to see at times due to the invisiblility factor)
and Frank is Xavier’s friend (also hard to see). You gotta love kids and their imaginations!!
Xavier has discovered his toes! He can roll over to his left side (although it may just be a side effect of holding his toes and becoming a ball). He got his first tooth (a bit young) and now will bite you instead of just gum you!
Cassidy carries on being a big brother although he doesn’t appreciate Xavier taking up more time now. Poor Thomas and Percy (a.k.a. trains) are bound to loose their jobs after all this time of crashing and loosing freight! Bob is building a whole new town (very exciting).
Daniel made the dining room table longer…now its 10 feet long. He helped a neighbor replace his gate. He dug a trench down the hill for a water line, it was a steep hill!
Athena went to the vet and will now not be having puppies. She’s fine with it, as long as she can slobber on Cassidy and jump on him she’s happy!
GO TO THE PICTURES PAGE, THEN THE PICTURES FOLDER TO SEE THE AUGUST PICTURES. SEPTEMBER COMING SOON AND SOME VIDEOS TOO!
Well, July was a busy month, full of Xavier growing and Cassidy having fun. It was a hot month! I transplanted the garden to pots to give it a chance and its now doing pretty well, and I can bring them inside when it gets colder! We have a waterfall in the living room (on purpose). We got a waterfall you put outdoors and put in the loving room with lots of plants. Looks good and keeps the place hydrated when it gets hot and dry!
Xavier is 3 months in July, he can sit up supported, prefers to stand, he can support his weight pretty well. Hates laying down! Still eats a lot of food. Talks a lot too! Starting to want more attention now too.
Cassidy loves his trains. He could tell you all about them whether you want to know or not! We read stories and Cassidy will read you a story sometimes too, but mostly he wants to play trains with you…which mostly entails crashing them!! His Bob the Builder machines are forever rescuing them! He helped me pick blackberries and ate an entire bucket in the process!
Eva is having more sucess with the garden now. She canned summer squash from the neighbors (anyone want some summer squash?) and made lots of blackberry cobbler. Her roses have started to flower (its the little things that make life exciting right?)
Daniel continues on with being Daniel…His life isn’t as exciting as mine I guess…He rescued Thomas (the tank engine) several dozen times, fixed a few of Cassidy’s toys, sanded the 1/2 bath and foyer so they could be painted and moved things around a bit. Such excitement! He also had to exciting task of building the waterfall with Cassidy’s help and trying not to hurt a baby cricket who was trying to help too!
Enjoy July’s Pictures
Hi everyone, I’m glad you found our new website. I haven’t figured out how to get the picture page the way I want it so you can directly to the page here:

Some updates (fun facts if you will…)
Cassidy is 3 1/2 and 30 lbs. His favorite colors are blue (like Thomas the tank engine) and green (like Percy). He’s getting pretty good and feeing and watering his puppy and rabbits. He likes helping with whatever we are doing, no matter what it is. And he’s a good big brother.
Xavier is almost 3 months and 13 lbs. He doesn’t do a whole lot right now (obviously). He coos, smiles, can hold his head up, likes formula and dry diapers and mommy, daddy and big brother Cassidy. He prefers sitting up to laying down and only likes laying if there is something to look at right there.
I learned to play homemade croquet yesterday. Lots of fun.
Daniel…well, Daniel got a haircut. (sorry Dan, couldn’t think of anything new)

Now that we have two children we thought we should get more rooms for pictures (and not try to break out pictures for two separate sites).
So…
Welcome to our new website, full of fun facts, monthly (maybe) updates and pictures galore!
Check it all out, bookmark our page and check back once in a while, and you can even leave comments! Enjoy!!
