Well, July was a busy month, full of Xavier growing and Cassidy having fun. It was a hot month! I transplanted the garden to pots to give it a chance and its now doing pretty well, and I can bring them inside when it gets colder! We have a waterfall in the living room (on purpose). We got a waterfall you put outdoors and put in the loving room with lots of plants. Looks good and keeps the place hydrated when it gets hot and dry!
Xavier is 3 months in July, he can sit up supported, prefers to stand, he can support his weight pretty well. Hates laying down! Still eats a lot of food. Talks a lot too! Starting to want more attention now too.
Cassidy loves his trains. He could tell you all about them whether you want to know or not! We read stories and Cassidy will read you a story sometimes too, but mostly he wants to play trains with you…which mostly entails crashing them!! His Bob the Builder machines are forever rescuing them! He helped me pick blackberries and ate an entire bucket in the process!
Eva is having more sucess with the garden now. She canned summer squash from the neighbors (anyone want some summer squash?) and made lots of blackberry cobbler. Her roses have started to flower (its the little things that make life exciting right?)
Daniel continues on with being Daniel…His life isn’t as exciting as mine I guess…He rescued Thomas (the tank engine) several dozen times, fixed a few of Cassidy’s toys, sanded the 1/2 bath and foyer so they could be painted and moved things around a bit. Such excitement! He also had to exciting task of building the waterfall with Cassidy’s help and trying not to hurt a baby cricket who was trying to help too!
Enjoy July’s Pictures
