Welcome to the world of the Melancon family!
UPDATE: Daniel is in the Air National Guard now working at the guard base in Charleston WV. He likes it.
We are now a family of 5, still have 2 dogs, plus we have Daniel’s brother Jake, his girlfriend Sarah and their 2 dogs with us as well. It is a full house!
Eva now has her masters and more importantly her PE!!! SHe is working for the WV DOH.
Cassidy is 7, in 1st grade, plays soccer and basketball. Likes Star Wars, Legos, Hotwheels, Bionicles.
Xavier is going to be 4 in a few weeks. He is in pre-school and loves it. He is into Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and often wants to be called Leonardo or Donatello. He plays soccer as well and wants to play hockey.
John Douglas was is now 1 years old. He is walking, jabbering, climbing, and getting into all sorts of trouble. He’s big too!
Our family currently comprises of 4 people and 2 dogs.
Daniel now works for a surveying/construction company doing something that I have no idea how to decribe 
so you’ll have to ask him…something about the surveyors give him the data and he turns it into plans and gives them to someone else…I think lol
Eva works as an eningeer slowly making her way towards the PE. Also 1 year into getthing a Masters (ready for this one) in Leadership with an Emphasis in Crisis Management and Disaster Preparedness. 1 year to go for both the masters and PE! woohoo!!! In her free time (double hah!) she enjoys working on the house with Daniel, keeping Cassidy & Xavier out of trouble.
Cassidy is 5 and one big bundle of energy. He does pretty much anything daring although he can’t successfully run with his eyes closed for more than 3 steps.
Xavier is 1 1/2 and does everything Cassidy does! Fine for a 5 year old but not so good for a 1 year old!! He also loves to dance and doesn’t talk too much (unlike his brother who says he likes to talk).
Emma is a Black Lab/Retriever mix (although she retrieves nothing) and Athena is our German Shepard mix (and she lacks the intellegence that Daniel tells me shepards have and we think she’s actually part coon dog, part beagle, part something…who knows) She won’t retrieve either.
We also have a Mazda Tribute that we call Travis, a Ranger named Mirage and an Insight names Codiyoko.
